Guide Bio: Adam Zok
Adam is an ACMG Ski Guide and passionate snowboarder based in Revelstoke, BC. Whether he's navigating the safest route to the summit, digging a snow profile, setting a skin track through the forest, or eyeing up his next pillow line, Adam is at home in the mountains and will make you feel comfortable out there too.
Not only does he know where to find the goods, but he'll make a point of getting you there as efficiently as possible. He might convince you to walk a little farther than you thought you could go, but the skiing you're rewarded with will be well worth the extra calories burned!
Adam enjoys sharing his knowledge of mountain hazards, navigation, and touring technique with his guests, and has something useful to teach everyone from the beginner ski tourer to the experienced backcountry traveller. As a special promotion for this upcoming winter, all of Adam's trips include one free tomahawk, all-you-can-eat good vibes, and as much heavy breathing as you can handle!
While born in Canada, Adam spent a large portion of his youth in the States, adventuring primarily in the Sierras and Tetons. So, if you speak American to him, don’t worry - he’s bilingual!
When he’s not guiding, Adam can often be found sniffing out adventurous and unskied lines throughout the Selkirks and Monashees, or scratching his way up rock climbs that are just a little bit too hard for him.
